Jimi flies with TWA from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, U.S.A. to Kloten Airport Zürich, Switzerland. He arrives at Kloten on Thursday 30 May 1968 at 9:45 am, wearing his black hat (no buttons yet), a black coat, a black shirt with white flowers, red trousers and black leather boots. He carries a blue bag bearing his initials JMH, probably containing his toiletries, and a red vinyl TWA carry on bag, probably containing his stage outfits and other personal belongings. He is picked up by journalist Edith Lier, photographer Dölf Preisig, Marlies Jaggi (wife of the organizer Hans-Ruedi Jaggi) and Swiss Jimi Hendrix at the time: Walty Anselmo.
